TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Despite the recent job-cutting over retrenchment reason, Microsoft continues innovation on mobile line by planting iris-scanning tech on the upcoming Lumia 950/950 XL, Digital Spy reported. The tech lets users log-in to the phones as part of Microsoft's incoming Windows Hello authentication featured on Windows 10.
Lumia 950 is said to come in 5.2-inch size and 2K screen resolution. Processor six-core Snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, and a removable 3,000 mAh battery are included in the spec.
The XL variant will be coming in 5.7-inch screen with CPU octa-core Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, and a removable 3,300 mAh.
Surface Pen and smart cover are also available for the phones as separated accessories.
Both phones will be provided with 32 GB storage expandable via microSD slot. Front camera has 5 MP resolution and rear camera has 20 MP resolution.
Lumia 950 and 950 XL is said to be released in the upcoming October or November.
