Xiaomi Teams Up With Indomaret on Online Purchase

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chinese phone manufacturer Xiaomi announced online-to-offline partnership with local retailer Indomaret to facilitate offline payment for the phone buyers, especially those who do not own credit cards. The partnership covers 11,000 payment locations.
Steve Vickers, Xiaomi’s General Manager for Southeast Asia said at “Iftar with Mi” event in Jakarta, that the company wants to utilize Indomaret’s channels to reach out to the costumers.
After purchasing a Xiaomi device on Mi.com, customers can head to Indomaret and Ceriamart to present payment code they acquired from the website, and finalize the payment. Payment via Indomaret can be processed with cash, debit cards and i-Voucher.
After completing the payment, a customers will receive notification email and the device will be sent immediately after verification by Indomaret.
Other than the offline payment method, Xiaomi also offers other promotions until July 18 to welcome lebaran. Among the promotional events are accessory bundle and “Mi Mudik Sehat”, “Mi Mudik Musik,”, and “Mi Mudik Keluarga”.
