Jasa Marga Reduces Toll Road Tariffs

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Toll road operator company PT Jasa Marga, has decided to lower toll road tariffs by 35 percent starting from 12:00 AM Western Indonesia Time on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, until five days after Eid al-Fitr.

"The new fares are effective starting last night for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road," said Yudhi Krisyunoro, General Manager of PT Jasa Marga on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.

According to Yudhi, the reduction was proposed by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo in relation to the Eid homecoming tradition.

The reduction is expected to increase traffic volume on toll roads managed by Jasa Marga, particularly the Jakarta inner-city toll road and the Jakarta outer-ring road.
