TEMPO.CO, Lhokseumawe - A number of former Aceh Independence Movement (GAM) combatants plans to join the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) group for not having any income or salary.
Deputy Commander of Sagoe Fakruddin a.k.a. 'Din Robot' said it is impossible to live in Aceh in a situation without having a regular income, while his family needs food to live a decent life.
“Rather than creating trouble in Aceh, it is better off to join the ISIS group, especially considering the high salary that is being offered,” Din Robot said Monday, July 6.
Din claimed to have the ability to hold and operate weapons. He has disseminate the plan to 90 other GAM activists under his command. “They claimed they are ready,” said Din Robot.
To realize the plan, Din Robot requested the help of the Moslem Attorney Team Safaruddin to bridge and handle all administrative purposes in order to join the ISIS group.
“I as chairman of the Moslem Attorney team here will help my client with everything he needs,” said Safaruddin.
