KPK Investigator Terrorized by Bomb Threat

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The residence of of one of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)’s investigators, Police Commissioner (Kompol) Afif Julian Miftah, in South Bekasi was terrorized by an unknown person.

At around 22:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, while Police Commissioner Afif and his wife and their children just came home, they found an object in front of their house, suspectedly a bomb.

"While they were opening the fence, there was a suspicious parcel. Kompol Afif then directly called the South Bekasi Police," said Head of Public Relations of Bekasi Regional Police AKP Siswo.

Up to now, Siswo added, the object was still under investigation by the bomb squad team of Bekasi City.

"It's only been secured. So we do not know yet is it a real bomb or not," said Siswo.
