TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Aristo Pangaribuan, Legal Director of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), said that PSSI is open to the peaceful solution as proposed by the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). Aristo claimed that PSSI has made a draft of Cooperation Agreement to accommodate the solution.
"PSSI is open [for everyone]. We even visited the Youth and Sports Ministry for four times, but got rejected every time," Aristo said on Monday, July 6, 2015.
Aristo said that the Cooperation Agreement concept can be used to strike a deal between Indonesian sport associations and the government, similar to a cooperation agreement made between the FA and the British Government.
Legal representative of the Youth and Sports Ministry Faisal Abdullah said that the ministry has invited PSSI chairman Djohar Arifin to talk about a peaceful solution. Aristo denied the claim, saying that the Ministry needs to discuss the matter to the current PSSI chairman La Nyala Mataliti.
