TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Investigation Coordinator of the Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW), Febri Hendri, regretted the fact that a politician passed administration test in the selection of the Head of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"We know that the House has been attacking KPK. How can they let politicians from the House pass the test?" he said on Sunday, July 5. "Letting him pass can mean that the attacks will likely intensify."
Previously, committee has announced 194 candidates passing administration selection. One of the names is Ahmad Yani from the United Development Party (PPP).
Member of the selection committee, Natalia Subagyo, said that the administration selection is the first step. "There is still a long road to take," she said. “We still have objective test, paper, profile assessment, interview, and track record investigation.”
