TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama is set to appoint seven Echelon II officials to replace seven Heads of Agencies that he had dismissed on Friday afternoon, said Jakarta's Chief for Administration, Agus Suradika at the City Hall on Friday, July 3, 2015.
"They will be replaced due to unsatisfactory performance reviews in the past six months," said Agus, who went on to say that those dismissed include the Head of Jakarta's Transportation Agency Benjamin Bukit, the Head of Sports and Youth Affairs Zaenal Soleman, the Head of Water Management Agency Agus Priyono, the Head of Parks and Cemeteries Agency Nandar Sunandar and the Head of Sanitation Agency Saptastri Ediningtyas.
Also dismissed by Ahok are the Head of Jakarta's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Trade Joko Kundaryo, and the Head of the One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (BTPSP) Noor Syamsu Hidayat.
According to Tempo's sources, the Sanitation Agency will be spearheaded by Isnawa Aji, who had previously held the post as the Deputy Head of the Sanitation Agency - while the SMEs and Trade Agency will be lead by Irwandi, who had worked as the Secretary for the Agency in question.
The Parks and Cemeteries Agency Head will be replaced by the Chief for Jakarta's City Parks, Ratna Dyah - while the Head of Sports and Youth Affairs Agency will be replaced by Firmansyah, who previously held the post of the Head of Youth Affairs under the Sports and Youth Affairs Agency. The Head of BPTSP will be replaced by the Assistant to the East Jakarta Administration, Andriansyah.
