Waskita Karya Seeks to Acquire 10 Toll Roads

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Government-owned contractor PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is targeting to acquire 10 toll roads this year. President director M. Kholiq said his company so far has acquired seven.
The seven toll roads that have been acquired are Medan Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi (35 percent), Depok-Antasari (25 percent), Pejagan-Pemalang (100 percent), Becakayu (60 percent), Solo-Ngawi (40 percent), Ngawi-Kertosono (40 percent), and Cinere-Serpong (35 percent).
Kholiq declined to detail the locations of the three toll roads his company is now seeking to acquire. He only said they are all located in Java.
According to Kholiq, the company has an investment budget of Rp4.3 trillion in 2015, of which approximately 80 percent is allocated for toll road acquisitions.
