TEMPO.CO, Medan - Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, reportedly admitted 35 bodies evacuated from the C-130 Hercules crash site at Jalan Jamin Ginting, Medan, North Sumatera. The bodies, which were mostly charred, was still being identified. The hospital calimed that it could not confirmed whether the bodies were passengers of the plane, or civilians killed in the accident.
It was predicted that more bodies remain trapped at the crash site because the plane carried 50 passengers in total.
Earlier, a military-owned plane crashed at Jalan Jamin Ginging, Medan, North Sumatera on june 30, 2015. The plane was piloted by Capt. Sandi Permana who graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2005. The ill-fated plane departed from Suwondo Airport, Medan, at 11:48 AM heading for Tanjung Pinang, Riau Island.
Indonesian Air Force spokesperson First Marshal Dwi Badarmanto said that the plane was on a mission to carry military personnel and logistics from one airbase to another.
