Puan: Ministers are Still Working Despite Reshuffle Rumours

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Coordinating Minister for Culture and Human Development, Puan Maharani, said that cabinet ministers continue to work in accordance to their posts despite rife rumours of an impending reshuffle.
"We are still committed to our responsibilities as mandated by our posts," said Puan after a meeting at the President's Office in Jakarta. "Reshuffle is the President's prerogative rights, so we can't do anything but to continue working on our responsibilities."
"According to my observations, all ministers are still attending their meetings as per usual. The coordination meeting with the President also went smoothly," said Puan, who refused to comment further on the reshuffle issue.
"I am not aware on whether it has been discussed with members of the coaltion. Once again, I'd like to say that such action is the prerogative right of the President, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see," said Puan.
