TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Industry Minister Saleh Husin encourages industrial area developer PT Jababeka to participate in government’s program to develop new industrial areas outside of Java.
“I hope Jababeka’s participation in the development project outside Java would realize new modern industrial cities,” Saleh said on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Jababeka has started to develop industrial areas in Cikarang in 1989 accommodating more than 1,700 multinational companies.
“It shows Jababeka’s high level of commitment and professionalism in expanding its business,” Saleh added.
Saleh said that he appreciated the company for making creative innovations in developing industrial areas. According to Saleh, Jababeka has evolved consistently to become an independent and modern industrial city.
The industrial area features complete facilities, such as housing complex, commercial area, education center, recreational facilities, logistics areas and others.
In collaboration with PT Plaza Indonesia Reality, Jababeka is ready to kick off an integrated development project consisting of shopping center, apartment and office park to realize a new industrial city.
