TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chief of Gowa Police, Senior Commissioner Hery Marwanto, said that there are still other terrorist cell members in Gowa, He suspected that the number is high, due to the fact that terrorist Gowa is known as a transit area.
"Therefore, we help increase security," he said. Hery added that the police keep monitoring and narrowing down the cell’s movement in Gowa.
Previously, police arrested Abdul Kadir aka. Abu Ayman, 25, from Bontobaddo, Somba Opu, Gowa. He was known as weapon’s courier for Santoso terrorist group. Abdul Kadir was arrested by the Special Detachment 88 in Poso when carrying hundreds of bullet to be delivered to Santoso’s cell in Poso.
Hery then asked the people of Gowa to report to police in case seeing suspicious movement. "We want this area to be cleared of terrorism," he said.
