TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Boyzone kept their promise to entertain Jakarta fans as Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mickey Graham performed spectacular show before thousands of fans on Friday, May 22. The band sang total of 22 songs in the concert entitled ‘A Night Reunion’ at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
Despite of the age, the Irish band opened the concert energetically with ‘Love is Hurricane’. The song elevated the mood of the audiences who had long awaited their favorite band.
The second song ‘Picture of Me’ even brought more noises and cries from the crowd who sang along the band’s very popular single.
Mickey Graham thanked fans who had supported and awaited for a quite long time before the band finally come to Jakarta. The concert was Boyzone’s first visit to Asia since the death of one of its personel Stephen Gately in 2009.
“Stephen had always love his fans in Indonesia,” said Ronan Keating.
The band said goodbye after the 18th song and walked away from the stage one by one. But they returned to the stage to sing more songs after the fans cried out loud: “We want more!”
