TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia will host the International Student Energy Summit (ISES) 2015 in Nusa Dua, Bali. The summit will take place from June 10 to 13, carrying a theme dubbed 'Connecting the Unconnected'.
The international conference will see more than 800 youths from nearly 100 countries. They will discuss issues of energy and environmental resilience, particularly the gaps in energy use and development in the developed and emerging countries.
The event will have a variety of activities including conferences, workshops, competitions of scientific papers, field trips and social activities.
The host organizer is the Bandung Institute of Technology Bandung.
"We very much hope that through this conference we can introduce Indonesia's energy potential to the whole world," said Tutuka Ariadji a professor of ITB who is a member of the ISES 2015's High Level Advisory Board.
