TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – President Joko “Jokowi” has announced the members of the selection committee for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which consisted of nine women.
“I hope that the KPK selection committee can work immediately to select candidates for KPK leaders to be forwarded to me,” Jokowi said at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Jakarta on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
According to Jokowi, the members of the selection committee come from various backgrounds, including from the law, finance, sociology, technology and psychology fields.
“Over the last few months, I worked hard to form the selection committee. The committee must have the required competence, integrity and expertise,” Jokowi said.
Jokowi hopes that the selection committee will be able to screen qualified candidates who can reinforce the KPK and improve its ability to work with other law enforcement institutions.

1. Destry Damayanti (economist and finance experts): chairperson of the committee
2. Enny Nurbaningsih (state administrative expert and head of the National Law Development Agency at the Justice and Human Rights Ministry): deputy chairperson)
3. Harkristuti Harkrisnowo (staffer at the Justice and Human Rights Ministry)
4. Betti Alisjahbana (technology expert)
5. Yenti Ganarsih (anti-money laundering expert)
6. Supra Wimbarti (psychologist)
7. Natalia Subagyo (good governance expert)
8. Diani Sadiawati (staffer at the National Development Planning Board)
9. Meuthia Ganie-Rochman (anti-corruption sociologist and social capital expert)
