“Both the booths and carts are all small-medium entreprises (UKM), and is set in the theme if ‘Sunda Kelapa harbor’ complete with representative menus which are part of 30 iconic archipelago cuisine,” said Tommy Laurici, Deputy Chairman of 2015 JFF.

Among the menu are Ayam Bakar Ngebul, Bakmi Kepiting Chuan Chuan (crab noodle), Gangan Belitung, Kerak Telor, Mie&Laksa Udang, Sate Maranggi Mas Marno, Serabi Solo Notosuman, Toge Goreng, Udang Penyet, Warung Bebek Rawit, and many others.

The decoration setting is intended to be a memoir that Jakarta has Sunda Kelapa harbor as hundreds-year-old icon. Sunda Kelapa harbor, also known as Fish Market, is an old harbor located in North Jakarta.

Because of its strategic position, the harbor was the center of trade in Asia. The historical harbor is the embryo of the Indonesian capital city that has become a destination for maritime and historical tourism.

The theme was chosen to support government’s endeavor to resurrect Indonesia’s golden times as the world largest archipelago in the old days. The KTD is open for visitors from Monday to Sunday starting from 11:00 to 23:00 local time.
