Indonesia, Nigeria Expected to Boost Trade

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The opportunity to boost trade between Indonesia and Nigeria remains big as the Indonesia Trade and Promotion Center (ITPC) Lagos, Nigeria is now aiming for three goals in a business gathering held several weeks ago.
"The opportunity to boost trade between Indonesia and Nigeria is still widely open,” said Chairman of ITPC Lagos, Nino Wawan Setiawan, in a press release on Friday.
Nino said that the three goals aimed at the business gathering, which was conducted on May 6 to 7, 2015 are in the trade sector, investment sector and tourism sectors, in which opportunities in the trade and investment sector in Nigeria is very bug.
According to Nino, Nigeria is an African country that has a positive economic growth trend, with the average economic growth of 6.75 percent per year.
"The total non oil and gas export in 2014 reached US$628 million,” Nino said, adding that the business gathering will be followed-up by having business-to-business meeting, as well as one-to-one business meeting at the ITPC Lagos.
