TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ronny Sugiadha, Chief Marketing Officer of Kaskus, Indonesia’s largest online community portal, said that the website's online community service annual revenue currently sits at below Rp 100 billion. "We aim to achieve Rp 200 billion in the next two years," Ronny told reporters on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
Ronny explained that to achieve the target, Kaskus will attempt to increase the number of its users and financial transaction activities of its members. Currently, Kaskus generates its revenue from advertisement services, donators, and hot treads.
Ronny said that Kaskus is an online community service that represents trends in Indonesia. "If [something] is trending in Kaskus, it will become a trend overseas," said Ronny.
Ronny said that Kaskus has about 28 million unique visitors per month, while the number of its member is increasing by 120,000 per month with 700 million pages accessed each month, and 4,000 threads created daily. "We are Indonesia's largest social e-commerce," said Ronny
