National Exams in Central Jakarta under Control, Official Says

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sutarno, the head of the Central Jakarta Education Agency, claimed that his institution was ready to hold the national examinations for junior high school students by the number of examination papers on Friday, May 1, 2015, including the backups.

“There would be no shortage on examination papers,” Sutarno told Tempo on Sunday, May 03, 2015.

To distribute the papers, Sutarno said, each principal of the schools under his institution will pick up the exam papers from SMPN 216 starting at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015.

“To pick up the papers, a principal must be accompanied by a teacher or more,” Sutarno said.

Based on Tempo’s observation, the examination papers for the schools under Sub District 2 are contained in a room at SMPN 216. The door was sealed with two pieces of papers. At the school located at Jalan Salemba Raya, two police was deployed to guard the examination papers.
