TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - With the addition of six new subjects into the fifth year of QS World University Rankings by Subject, published at www.topuniversities.com, QS continues to aid students in their higher education journey by providing information on the quality of higher education within different specializations that are common around the world.

It is always difficult to specify the best subject for a student’s higher education institution. Despite the difficulties, the QS World University Rankings by Subject, with 36 subjects included in the ranking system, continue to attempt to provide reliable information in relation to students’ interest.

Among the ranked universities, Indonesian Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) managed to display an expertise in disciplines that are competitive on the world stage. ITB is listed within the global top 100 for Art & Design, while the Bogor Agricultural University ranked in the top 150 for Agriculture & Forestry. In addition, Universitas Indonesia has managed to keep its place among 400 of the best universities for medical studies.
