TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Summarecon Mall in Bekasi has added gemstones to its Pasar Senggol culinary festival this year in light of the rocketing popularity of the precious stones in the country.
Summarecon’s general manager for corporate communications Cut Meutia said there would be 30 tenants of gemstones in Pasar Senggol.
“Because of its soaring popularity, this year’s Pasar Senggol will be enlivened by gemstone collections,” she said at the mall’s Pasar Senggol site in Bekasi on Friday, April 24,2015.
She added the gemstone exhibition would not take place in unison with Pasar Senggol, but instead would kick off two days before the festival ended.
The regular Pasar Senggol, which featured strings of dishes, attractions, a 5D cinema and entertainment would be available for 24 days beginning Friday, April 24, 2015 to Sunday, May 17, 2015, while the gemstone exhibition was slated for May 16-17,2015, she explained.
Meutia added there would be no additional charges on visitors as the exhibition would be held inside Pasar Senggol, and that the gemstones came from sellers in Bekasi and Jakarta.
