TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Anas Rosich, the principal of SMKN 26 Jakarta said that he was not aware of the school being involved in the “Splash After Class” bikini party initiated by Divine production. Anas expressed his objection that his school was mentioned as one of the supporters of the event.
“It’s definitely against our school’s character,” said Anas.
Anas explained that most of his students are from lower-middle class people, therefore the school or the students will never participate in such an event. In addition, the students must prepare for practices in industry for another year after the national examinations.
“All students are busy to prepare for the practice,” Anas added.
Therefore, Anas decided to file a police report against Divine production on Friday, April 24, 2015, for defamation.
Earlier, 15 public high schools in Jakarta and Bekasi were on the list of the bikini party. The Jakarta Education Agency summoned the schools to clarify their involvement in the event.
Divine Production owner Immanuel Siregar said that he and his team are ready to be summoned by the police to clarify the bikini party. According to Immanuel, any lawsuit against his company would be baseless.
“The event was to be held for high school students who are 18 years old or above,” he said on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
