Linked to Online Prostitution, Kalibata City Raided by Police

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sub-directorate of Children and Women Division of the Criminal Unit of the Jakarta Police raided a location in Kalibata City, Tebet, South Jakarta.

The location is allegedly linked to the online prostitution practice.

Director of the Jakarta Criminal Unit Comr. Sr. Heru Pranoto said that the raid is related to aonline prostitution sites.

"It is related to online prostitution,” Heru said on Saturday. However, Heru said that the raid this time is different from the previous raids.

He said that this time, the raid is not related to Mike, a suspect that was formerly arrested by the police in connection to the online prostitution practice through Twitter.

"It is connected to the children who become the victims,” he said.

The raid come after the police investigated a site named Sem***.com. After the police  investigated it, they police raided the location that is linked to the site.

However, Heru declined to further explain because the case is still being investigated. However, since Friday evening until Saturday, the police were still doing investigation in the location.
