TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Utomo Karim, the lawyer of death-row convict Raheem Agbaje Salami, said 10 death-row inmates have been moved to the isolation cells at the Nusakambangan prison island awaiting for the executions that will be conducted within three days.
“That was the meeting result. The execution will be conducted within 72 hours,” Utomo said on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
The ten death-row convicts are Andrew Chan (Australia), Myuran Sukumaran (Australia), Raheem Agbaje Salami (Nigeria), Zainal Abidin (Indonesia), Serge Areski Atlaoui (France), Rodrigo Gularte (Brazil), Silvester Obiekwe Nwaolise or Mustofa (Nigeria), Martin Anderson or Belo (Ghana), Okwudili Oyatanze (Nigeria), and Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso (Philippine).
Utomo said lawyers of the 10 death-row convicts visited Nusakambangan to inform them about the decision.
Earlier, Mary Jane met her family who visited her in the prison island. The execution site was being prepared at Tunggal Panaluan firing range.
