TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Democratic Party chairman Susilo "SBY" Bambang Yudhoyono has ordered his party cadres in the House of Representatives to support President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's administration.
"“It is an obligation for Democratic Party's young cadres to give chance and support to President Jokowi," said SBY during the Indonesian Democrat Association (IMDI) national leadership meeting on Friday, April 24, 2015.
SBY also asked his party cadres not to disrupt Jokowi's administration just like the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle did during SBY's term. "There were elements that consistently interfered during my term for ten years. We don't need to do the same," said SBY.
SBY hoped that the Jokowi administration could continue his legacy and make new achievements. "We hope there will be new achievements this year," SBY said. "What we have achieved for ten years should be maintained and not be thrown away."
