Acting Governor Rano Focuses on Banten's Development Program

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Acting governor of Banten Rano Karno has asked all Regional Task Force (SKPD) in Banten to focus carrying out development programs as approved in the initial Development Plan Forum (Musrembang). Rano said that he does not want to see new emerging program in the province.

“I ask that there will be no new programs but the ones we have agreed in the forum," said Rano.

Rano said that Banten’s Regional Plan (RKPD) 2016 in focuses on the attempts to increase competitiveness and to develop public economy.

He then emphasized on three points namely improving public service and administration management, improving public welfare, and increasing competitiveness. Rano expected that Musrenbang can serve as the sole forum to agree on development priority.

“I also would like to collect the commitment of fellow legislative members to support the regional programs on the basis of their authority and functions,” said Rano.
