TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Director General of America and Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dian Triansyah Djani said the Indonesian government and the Norwegian government have agreed to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The aid, he said, are needed because Afghanistan is still in the grip of conflicts.
"We will develop programs that are needed by Afghanistan," Dian said in the sideline of the 60th Commemoration of the Asian-African Conference at the Jakarta Convention Center, Sunday, 19 April 2015.
Dian also said that Indonesia and Norway have agreed to give supports for the independence of Palestine.
In the meantime, Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia Stig Traavik said that in the meeting between Prime Minister Erna Solberg and President Joko Widodo several weeks ago, both leaders agreed to to give aids to Afghanistan and Palestine.
