TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Saudi Arabia has executed another Indonesian migrant worker, Karni binti Medi Tarsim from Brebes, Central Java. "It is confirmed that Karni was executed earlier today," said CEO of Migrant Care, Anis Hidayah.
Anis said that Karni was executed for murdering his employer's child back in 2013. Karni's execution came up following the recent execution of Siti Zaenab binti Duhri from Bangkalan, East Java.
Karni's execution was rather immediate because it was carried out within two years after the incident, unlike Siti Zainab's execution that had to wait for 14 years. In Siti's case, she had to wait for the victim's youngest son to reach maturity. In the end, the youngest son Walid refused to give pardon and the death penalty was eventually carried out.
