TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Air Force Chief of Staff Marshall Agus Supriatna, said that the pilot who was flying the F-16 aircraft that experienced malfunction earlier today ath the Halim Perdanakusumah airport, Lt.Col Firman Dwicahyo, has been admitted to a hospital and is fully conscious.
Agus said the F-16 aircraft that was experiencing an engine failure has been removed from the runway of the airport and flights are now resuming normally.
An F-16 Block 521D aircraft with registration number TS-1643 was engulfed in fire while it was preparing for takeoff at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. The pilot immediately exited the aircraft.
