TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Abraham "Lulung" Lunggana, Deputy Speaker of the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), argued that Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama has violated the law on ethics and political stability.
"In relation to the political stability, we surely know that the governor is disrespecting the ethics and the norms based on the law," Lulung said in a meeting with the City Council's inquiry team on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. "The government regulation states that [we] must maintain the political stability," Lulung added.
Lulung expressed his comment when he was asking a question to Andi Irman Putra Sidin, an expert of state administrative law, who was invited by the DPRD inquiry team. Lulung explained that the political stability was related to order, convenience, and security.
In addition to Andi Irman, the DPRD's inquiry team on Thursday, March 26, 2015, will invite another expert of state administrative law, Margarito, and political observer Rus Sihombing. On Friday, March 27, 2015, the City Council will meet two political communication professors Tjipta Lesmana and Sumardjoyo.
