TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla said that Indonesia is set to return the fund that Australia provided to Indonesia during Aceh Tsunami 2004. JK added that Australia was only one out of 56 nations providing help.

"If it had not been for humanity, we would surely have returned it," said JK. The VP’s statement came in light of #KoinForAustralia hegemony, in which a number of people insisted that Indonesia returned Australian aid during Aceh Tsunami.

#KoinForAustralia is a form of harsh response against Australia, primarily after Prime Minister Tony Abbott said that tsunami aid should have been a consideration for Indonesia to cancel the death penalty against two of its citizens.

Amid clarification from Mr. Abbot, personally directed to Jusuf Kalla, he said that he had no recent communication with the Australian Government.
