Football Wonderkid Freddy Adu is a Nightclub Employee Now

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - American footballer Freddy Adu hit news headline several years ago, causing a stir in European Leagues as clubs were racing to sign the youngster. Prior to his making European news, Adu was professionally signed by DC United when he was 14, dubbed as a young wizard that can help alter the course of football in United States soil.
Chatters around Adu were plenty, with several exaggerating the player’s ability. Adu was one cited to be world-class footballer, probably contesting Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, 11 years after his career jumpstarted in DC United, Adu is now a dust in history. The once-agile forward now plays for now club, even spending his time now in nightclubs - as an employee.
Adu, having played 12 times for the United States National Team, has lost his magic on the pitch. Prior to his downfall, Adu has also played for a numbe of top clubs around the world, from France to Brazil, before making a final stop and ending his promising career in night club.
