Home Affairs Ministry Rejects Jakarta Regional Budget Correction

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Home Affairs reported that the 2015 Jakarta Regional State Budget is not complete yet; thus the Ministry could not evaluate it yet.
"The Jakarta provincial government has already submitted their regional budget but it’s not complete yet. So how can we evaluate it?” said spokesperson of the Home Affairs Ministry, Doddy Riyatmadji.
Doddy added that because the regional budget is not complete yet, the 2015 Jakarta regional budget worth Rp73 trillion cannot be corrected yet although the Jakarta administration had already submitted.
According to Doddy regional budget does not include the use of budget as a while and activities until Echelon 3 officials. However, Doddy declined to reveal them more in detail.
He also said that the ministry had returned the Jakarta regional budget that is considered not complete.
Therefore, Doddy hoped that the Jakarta administration would complete the regional budget by next week because if it takes too long to be completed, it would affect the plans of development in the city.
