TEMPO.CO, Bogor - Bogor Acting Regent Nurhayanto said the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry and the Bogor Regency Government will commence the Ciawi reservoir project this year to anticipate floods in Jakarta.

"For Ciawi reservoir, there is already a progress because the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry says the project must already enter planning phase this year," said Nurhayanti on Monday, February 9, 2015.

However, Nurhayanti has not confirmed the exact date. Based on the coordination meeting with the Public Works and Public Ministry, the reservoir will be built at the Cipayung and Sukamahi villages. Reservoirs will be built on areas of 109.3 hectares and 24.8 hectares at each Cipayung and Sukamahi Village.

"The budget for the physical construction is at around Rp 1.9 trillion from the state budget. Land acquisition will be covered by the Jakarta government," she said.
