TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) will release Honda CBR250R Champion Edition for a limited amount of 100 units for Honda motor sport fans.
“The launch is inspired by the spirit of Marc Marquez’s MotoGP world championship victory,” Marketing Director AHM Margono Tanuwijaya said in a press release in Bali.
The Honda CBR250R Champion Edition features an authentic Repsol color and stickers including Champion Logo, HRC, GAS and #93, the number used by MotoGP champions Marc Marquez.
The bike cost Rp 56.8 million in Jakarta and is available for orders at Honda dealers starting February and will start its shipment to customers beginning at March.
“We are marketing it in a limited number because we want to provide its own prestige for Honda and MotoGP fans,” Margono said.
Before the release of Honda CBR250R Champion Edition, last year the company also released Honda CBR150R Champion Edition and Honda Blade 125 Champion Edition as a celebration of Repsol Honda team’s success in snatching the Triple Crown World Champion in the 2014 MotoGP event.
