TEMPO.CO, Bogor – A deadly pileup involving a Mercedes-Benz trailer truck and three other vehicles—among them a public transport—took place in Bogor, West Java on Thursday night, January 29, 2015. The truck slammed into the vehicles in front of it, including the packed public transport, killing two passengers and injuring 12 others.

The dead victims are Tinah, 23; and her two-year-old daughter Rasti—both were residents of Gadog Pandan Sari village RT (neighborhood unit) 1/4, Megamendung district, Bogor regency. Those severely injured in the chain collision were Sungkono, Heri Farhanudin and Lulu.

“The dead victims have been taken by their relatives to the funeral home, the three severely injured passengers are still at Ciawi Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for treatment, while the rest have returned home,” Bogor Police Traffic Department chief Adj. Comr. Bramastiyo Priaji said on Friday, January 30, 2015.

The collision took place on Jl.
