TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Besides announcing its first quarter 2015 fiscal earnings for a record-breaking 74.5 million iPhones sold from October to December 2014, Apple also reveals that Apple Watch will soon be available in stores.
More precisely, Tim Cook mentioned that the Watch would start shipping in April.
Last year, when the Apple Watch was first announced, Tim Cook said the device would make its debut in "early 2015". While April is not in the first quarter of the year, so it looks like Apple still has a ton of work to do before its wearable device is ready to embrace consumers' wrists.
Apple Watch reportedly will be quite expensive. Its cheapest model will cost $349.
Several versions, including the Apple Watch Edition, made from 18k-carat gold, will cost thousands of dollars.
Apple claims the Apple Watch will have a powerful processor (at least for a smartwatch), and a Retina-class display.
However, its battery life will not be great. Not long ago, Tim Cook said that users may have to recharge the device daily.
