TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law, and Security Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno said the Police have stated clear enough that Budi Gunawan has no 'mysterious' financial account. He claimed that the police investigation upon the matter is valid.
Minister Tedjo has hit the limelight in the past couple of days, following his recent controversial wordings.
"Police are a credible institution. If we don’t believe the police, let’s disband them. That’s how a nation crumbles," said Tedjo in an interview with Tempo Magazine.
Moreover, Tedjo said that the National Police Commission do not need to re-check the investigation to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"The KPK should not ignite public rage. Do not resort childish acts. It is constitution that will support you, not the ambiguous people," he said.
