TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Bambang Widjojanto (BW), has recently filed a temporary leave from his position. Bambang said that the KPK is currently discussing his request.
"It's [my] legal morality, although I know that my case is made up," he said. Bambang is certain that the recent allegation that was put against him by the Police was intentionally fabricated. "The facts are all fiction," he said.
Earlier on Friday, January 23, 2015, Bambang was arrested by the Police, before bailed out by the KPK. Rumor has it that the arrest is a form of revenge following KPK's naming of Commissioner General Budi Gunawan as a suspect in corruption case.
