TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Following Manchester United’s draw 0-0 against League Two team Cambridge United on Friday, other surprises continue to crack in the FA Cup as Chelsea and Manchester City both got kicked out from the hunt by lower league teams.
Chelsea was shocked by League One team Bradford City 4-2 at home while The CItizens got beaten by second division team Middleborough 2-0, also at home, on Saturday night.
After the game Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho expressed his embarrassment on his team’s loss.
"It's a disgrace for a big team to lose to a small team from a lower league," said Mourinho as quoted by BBC.
"Me and the players must feel ashamed."
The Blues led early in the game with two goals but finally surrender to The Bantams in the end of the day.
The Citizens seemed to have more bad luck as their blunt frontliners produced no goal. Middlesborogh, on the other hand, managed to steal two goals attributed to Patrick Bamford at the 70 minute and Kike at the 90 minute.
