TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA has shown off high-performing laptops featuring slim and light-weight design. From all of the tech beauties displayed in the CES showroom, Popscience has picked up three best-performing laptops as follow:

Dell XPS 13

Dell XPS 13 is the biggest and strongest laptops in the CES with 1.17-kilograms weight and 10.1-milimeter thickness. The battery is promising 15-hour non-stop operation. It’s attractive as well, with an aluminum and carbon fiber shell.  With starting price of US$799 or around Rp10 million, Dell’s XPS 13 could be irresistible for tech fans.

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi is even lighter than Dell XPS 13 and comes with 12.5-inch screen. It weighs only 725 gram with 317-milimeter thickness. The price tag seems to be similar to Dell XPS 13 at around Rp10 million.

Lenovo LaVie Z

Lenovo offers the lightest laptop of all three weighing 771 gram with 13-inch display screen. Using magnesium and lithium alloy instead of aluminum as the material, Lenovo tags the LaVie Z US$1,299 or around Rp16 million. Battery life on this machine won’t last all day, but the company says it can stand six hours on a charge.
