TEMPO.CO, Poso - Three farmers were found dead, allegedly killed by armed militia, in Poso, Central Sulawesi. The three were murdered on their farm in Tangkura Village, Poso.
"Local people discovered the bodies on Thursday," said Poso Chief of Police Senior Commissioner Ronny Suseno.
Ronny added that the shooting took place at 18:10 local time, killing Tomy Halifa (25) and Aditia Tetembo (50), both were farmers. Another victim, Hery Tobio (50), was discovered not far from the crime scene.
Following the discovery, the Mobile Brigade and Poso Police are in pursuit of the suspects. Reports suggest that there were seven or eight people suspected to be the shooters.
