Putting aside Razgard’s chance to defeat Madrid in the final group match to proceed to the knock out round, the biggest odd lies on the hand of Liverpool and Basel. Basel need only a draw to proceed. Liverpool on the other hand need to win, securing three points to book their redemption ticket.
The two clubs’ last encounter ended up with Basel winning the game in home ground. Nonetheless, Anfield has its own history in hosting top games, often resulting in Liverpool’s heroically winning the match in the most unlikely way.
