TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) Commander Gen. Moeldoko said all military elements in the country remained solid as ever. "We have pushed down sectoral ego," the general said during a meeting with President Joko Widodo on Friday at the Bogor Palace, which was also attended by the military's main command chiefs (Pangkotama) nationwide.

Moeldoko said the military solidity was something the TNI had taken pride in. "Thank God, all policy went well," he said.

Moeldoko also underscored in the meeting a string of priority policy set by the military, including training development, armament enhancement and welfare improvement.

President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla, accompanied by several ministers, met Friday with military top brass at Bogor Palace. In the meeting, each main command chief was given three minutes to convey their problems to the president.
