TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Adnan Pandu Praja gave a positive response to the intention of the newly appointed Attorney General M. Prasetyo about embarking on cooperation among law enforcement institutions.
"We welcome the idea. Let us create a synergy (including with KPK) in battling corruption with extraordinary ways,” Pandu said in a text message, Friday, November 21, 2014.
Those ways, Pandu said, can give target of the performances. Pandu cited an example that if initially one case of graft was revealed in a month, it can then be increased into three times.
Another KPK Deputy Chairman Zulkarnain also gave a positive response to the offer of cooperation from Prasetyo.
"Cooperation among law enforcement institutions is expected to be better, to be more substantive, more transparent, and more dynamic,” he said.
Previously, Prasetyo pledged that he would improve the performance of Attorney General Office, one of the being improving relations with KPK.
