TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government requires additional budget of Rp85.7 trillion for the infrastructure sector next year. Wismana Adi Suryabrata, deputy of development funding at the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), said the number covers all ministries and agencies' infrastructure budget.
Wismana said the government actually proposed for an additional budget of more than Rp250 trillion. But after a number of considerations the number shrunk to Rp85.7 trillion.
"It is not the final number, though, it could be raised again," he said.
Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro said the government will submit the 2015 amended budget draft in January 2015, after the Bappenas finalizes its medium term development plan.
