Garuda Indonesia, BNI Held Travel Exhibition Event

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Garuda Indonesia and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) hosted the 'Garuda Indonesia-BNI Travel Experience 2014' event that will last from November 13 to November 16 2014 in Gandaria City Mall, Jakarta.

The travel fair is held to accommodate people's high demand for information on tourism destination, both foreign and domestic. It also serves to facilitate tourists to obtain plane tickets and tour packages at a low price.

The travel fair completes the success of the Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) 2014 held last April and September 2014.

Erik Meijer, Director of Sales and Marketing for Garuda Indonesia, said that at the end of the year, people's interest and demands for vacation services skyrocketed.

He added that in order to simplify the process for people to go on vacation and to improve Indonesia’s tourism sector, Garuda Indonesia is committed to hold various tourism exhibition events more frequently. "The four-days travel fair aims to achieve [total] sales of Rp 15 billion and 10,000 visitors," said Erik.
