Cikampek-Palimanan Toll Road to be Completed on June 2015

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta- PT Lintas Marga Sedaya, a company responsible for the construction of the Cikampek-Palimanan toll road, promised that project toll road will be completed by June 2015. Hudaya Arryanto, Deputy Director of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya, said that he is optimistic that the project will be completed in time.

"In fact, it might be completed before June since [we're making] 10 percent of progress per month," said Hudaya on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono, said that the target completion date is a contractual agreement. With the current physical progress of 10 percent per month, he predicted that the construction can reach 85 percent by the end of this year. "So we only need to complete 15 percent next year," he said.

Nevertheless, Basuki will continue to monitor the progress of the toll road development. "Next March I will come again to see the progress. If there are any flaws, we still have three months left to correct it," he said on the project site, yesterday.
