Joko Widodo to Convene First Cabinet Meeting Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to convene the first cabinet meeting on Monday, October 27, 2014.

Former Deputy of the Transition Team Andi Widjajanto said the cabinet meeting would be done shortly after the inauguration of the new ministers at the State Palace.

"The President wishes to hold the first Cabinet Meeting on Monday which will be done after the inauguration or around 2 pm," Andi said yesterday.

According to Andi, the meeting will talk about the first instructions given to the new ministers in the cabinet.

The inauguration will be conducted at the State Palace at 11 am and that the event would be done in a formal way and comply with the State protocol.

In the meantime, the announcement of the cabinet lineup for Joko Widodo - Jusuf Kalla government is done today at the yard of the State Palace.
